Customer Rewards Program
Simple setup: choose how customers earn points and what those points are worth.
How Customers Earn Points
Set exactly how many dollars spent earns how many points.
The birthday discount is applied before sales tax and is marked used only after a completed sale. Rotate or use Back Office to edit these settings.
What Points Are Worth
Choose either a dollar discount or a percentage discount.
Set to 0 for no limit. Example: if 100 points = $5 and this is 2, a customer can use up to 200 points / $10 on one order.

External Card Fee
The fee applies only when the cashier chooses External Card. Cash sales are unchanged.
Live Example
Shows how the configured card fee changes a sample $20.00 transaction.
The normal cart Total Due remains the cash/base total. When External Card is selected, the confirmation shows the fee and final card amount before the cashier completes the sale.
Pop-Up Events
Create one shared event, then set up one or more event registers. Each event register uses inventory from one selected SmokeCloud location.
Create New Event
Creates the shared event only. You choose the register and its inventory immediately after.
Selected employees can use their normal PIN on any register joined to this event.
Set Up / Join Event Register
Every sale made while this event register is selected removes inventory only from this location.

Hardware & Devices
Set up receipt printers, label printers, barcode scanners and printer-driven cash drawers for this register.
SmokeCloud can verify saved profiles, test printing, listen for scanner input and inspect browser-authorized USB/HID devices. Installed-driver printers are verified with a physical test print because browsers cannot silently enumerate every system printer. Optional local bridge mode can provide deeper direct control.
Setup & Troubleshooting Guide
Windows Driver mode prints through your browser's normal print dialog. Make sure the correct printer is selected there before printing — it is not automatic, and Chrome does not always remember it.
Local Bridge mode (recommended) sends receipts straight to your Star printer and fires the cash drawer with no print dialog at all — nothing to select, nothing to get out of sync. Download the Local Hardware Bridge, follow its included setup guide, then switch Connection Mode below to “Local Bridge”.
Label printing always goes through your browser's print dialog — there is no bridge for labels yet, so double-check the correct printer is selected in that dialog every time before printing.
Seeing a “paper size does not match” error? Open the printer's own Windows settings (search “Printing Preferences” for your Brother printer — not Chrome's print dialog) and set its default paper size to match your label rolls.
Barcode printing off-center? Check that the label roll is seated straight and flush against the guide inside the printer. A crooked roll feeds crooked, and no software setting can fix that — it has to be reseated.
Always pick the label size that matches your rolls from the “Label layout” dropdown before printing.

Register Closing Questions
